At first I was as gullible as the next guy, easily fooled and mislead. But now I have become jaded and skeptical. It was the natural progression after being treated like a fool so many times. And it continues, ads for these dating sites are plentiful and can be found in many places. I have been sent unsolicited emails, I have seen the ads while viewing internet porn. I have even been exposed to them while searching for adult chat rooms. The main thing that they all have in common is their tag line, “Join for free and get laid tonight”. They know that the statement is not true yet they plaster it in as many internet ad blocks as they can. I have even seen ads that say, “because of the large number of female members, we are offering men free memberships”. To me that implies that they need men (which is a lie, men outnumber women on these sites 150 to 1 or more) and are willing to give them a membership with all of the tools and capabilities necessary to communicate with the women. Well, we all know that’s not true. If they actually told you the truth the number of men, and women for that matter who will actually join will diminish to almost nothing. It would go something like this, “Hot women looking for men to have sex with for only $15.99 for a one year membership”. Do you think they’ll come flocking to the site then. Now understand I am explaining this from a man’s perspective, I really don’t know what the women are being charged, if anything. I would suspect that they actually get to join for free and sign here, the site would be useless without them. Please women, share with us the offers you receive from the site, and everyone feel free to share your experiences. If anyone feels that I am way off base here, I want to hear that too.
